BLS-Healthcare Personnel
American Heart Association (AHA) BLS classes (Basic Life Support) train participants to quickly recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies such as heart attack, cardiac arrest, and choking in adults, children, and infants by performing high-quality chest compressions, delivering quality ventilations and early use of an AED.
This interactive course is hands-on and designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who are preparing to enter the healthcare field and need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills for in-hospital and prehospital settings.

The AHA Chain of Survival
Important early use of an AED
Effective ventilations using a barrier device
Importance of teams in multirescuer resuscitation and performance as an effective team member during multirescuer CPR
Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults and infants

American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver CPR AED course provides high-quality training in CPR, and AED use. This course equips individuals and workplaces with the confidence to respond effectively to medical emergencies until emergency responders arrive.
Heartsaver CPR AED is designed to meet job or regulatory requirements (i.e. OSHA). The blended learning course format is a convenient way to learn at your own pace and schedule.
The Heartsaver CPR AED course is designed for individuals with little or no medical background. It is ideal for anyone who wants to be prepared to respond effectively to emergencies at work, home, or in the community.

Heartsaver CPR AED $100.00
In-person class with hands on skills training. Length of class 2 to 3 hours.
BLS Skills only $45.00
Class and exam taken online. Certificate of completion brought to PRN Nursing Labs for the skills completion. Length of skills 40 minutes to 1 hour.
